The Workers’ Education Society hosted the Second Annual Vegan Chili Cook Off Fundraiser on October 21st, 2017.
Nearly 100 people came, over 20 submitted chilis, and everyone tasted the best soups Saint Louis had.
Pizza Head, Rev. Cori Bush, and Lona’s Lil Eats are helped to judge the contest.
Thanks for coming, and if you couldn’t make it, we hope to see you next October!
If you haven’t had an opportunity to help out Saint Louis’ premier labor-education coalition, now is the time! Please come, have fun, and help our cause.
This is an all ages event. No bigrotry will be tolerated. Please, no alcohol or drugs. All food must be vegan. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
-All chilis must be vegan!
-Every contestant must bring a recipe with them
-Bring 8 quarts of chili so that everyone can try it! If you can’t bring 8 quarts, bring as much as you can.
-Please register by buying a ticket online if possible! However we well accept chili submissions at the door as well.
First through fifth place as well as People’s Choice will all be receiving prizes! First prize gets the WES Chili Cookoff Trophy for one year – and must relinquish it to the winner next year.
